01 / RATIO
What is final drive?
Rear sprocket teeth divided by front sprocket teeth. A larger number means the engine turns more for each wheel revolution.
Compare your current setup with a gearing change.
Enter your current and proposed sprockets.
A higher final drive ratio means shorter gearing: more RPM at a given road speed. These are theoretical gearing comparisons, not a prediction of actual top speed.
Rear sprocket teeth divided by front sprocket teeth. A larger number means the engine turns more for each wheel revolution.
A higher ratio can improve response and acceleration feel, while increasing cruising RPM and reducing speed at a given RPM.
Before changing sprockets, verify chain length, adjustment range, clearance, and your motorcycle manufacturer's guidance.
