Fuel cost & range calculator
Estimate how far a full tank could take you and what your next ride might cost.
Based on the full nominal tank capacity, without a reserve allowance.
Enter a planned trip distance to see fuel and cost estimates.
Costs are labelled USD, CAD or EUR independently of the unit system. These are estimates, not a guarantee of achievable range. Keep a fuel reserve and plan refuelling stops.
Simple estimates for your next ride
Full-tank range = tank capacity ÷ consumption × 100. Full tank cost = tank capacity × price per litre. Fuel cost per 100 km = consumption × price per litre.
Trip fuel = distance × consumption ÷ 100. Trip cost = trip fuel × price per litre. The full tank cost assumes filling an empty tank; the cost of a top-up depends on how much fuel is already in the tank.
Actual consumption and usable tank capacity vary with riding style, speed, traffic, terrain, weather, load and the motorcycle. The estimate uses the entire entered capacity and does not subtract a reserve. Use realistic consumption figures and leave a margin when planning your ride.
